    We are always grateful when media covers local races. In our soundbite society it's awfully hard to get a local candidate's platform message out without media coverage. In a rare primary election for an open seat there were six candidates were running for this single seat on the Olathe City Council, media coverage was helpful for voters as they made their decisions.
