Grateful

It's official, I have been sworn in to serve as your councilwoman for Ward 3 in Olathe for the next four years. On Tuesday evening, January 4, 2022, the swearing in ceremony occurred during a regularly scheduled meeting at City Hall. I can't tell you how special it was to be surrounded by friends and loved ones as I took my oath of office. Thank you for honoring me by electing me to represent you on the Olathe City Council. I promise to work hard and make you proud.

I was able to use my Grandmother's Bible for my swearing in ceremony. My paternal grandmother, Ruby McClung, was a special woman with a quiet strength and firm convictions. She had a soft, gentle voice and told the best stories. I love her dearly.
